Foundation Course Application Process
The Foundation Course is not registered through UCAS. Application forms are available to download from our website or by telephoning our Administrator. Completed forms can be emailed or posted to Therese Christie. Application forms are accepted throughout the year, but we advise students to submit their form by the end of April as the demand for places is high and the course can fill up quickly. Late applications may be considered; please contact the School in advance of making a late application.
We accept students with a high commitment to studying the visual arts. Applications are welcome from students who wish to study art further at degree level, those who want to find their direction in the visual arts or mature students who wish to use the course as a refresher or sabbatical year. We do not have entry requirements, but students wishing to apply to a degree course following on from the Foundation Course should possess the relevant qualifications. We interview students with a portfolio of their work between March and May. Students are required to provide a reference from someone who knows them and their artwork well.
