Foundation Course Portfolio Requirements
We expect each applicant to have an enquiring visual mind; this should be evident in the portfolio. There should be drawing from observation (not photographs), painting and design work, and, if possible, work in three-dimensions. Sketchbooks are essential, as they provide an insight into the working methods and individuality of the applicant. Large or three-dimensional work may be represented by photographs.
A portfolio should consist of around 20 pieces of work, preferably completed within the last two years. Applicants from overseas may send slides or email digital photographs of their work. Please contact Therese Christie for further information.
