Leith School of Art

Students on this course will learn how to create a variety of different surfaces and textures using embroidery and fabric manipulation techniques. Working with paint, thread and found objects the aim will be to think creatively and innovatively through stitch. Looking at the theme of Solar/Lunar the course will explore the nature of opposites in colour, tone and texture with the aim of making pieces to hang on a wall. This course is suited to all levels of experience.
