This course is aimed at students who have already learnt the basics used in jewellery making and feel confident with the techniques of soldering and saw piercing. Each consecutive term, one or two specific techniques will be introduced to allow students to design and make a finished piece incorporating these. The technique of press forming will be covered in term one. Term two will focus on torch enamelling and box making. The final term will focus on different techniques of stone setting. All materials are included, with the exception of silver, which can be purchased during the class.
