Sarah Gittins has been working at the School since September 2007.She was awarded a BA (hons) degree in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 1999, and was awarded a Master of Fine Art degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 2010.
Sarah's art practice is mainly in the media of drawing, printmaking and painting. Her work explores issues of social and ecological justice, with a current emphasis on the embodied awareness of climate change.
Sarah will be artist in residence at the Dundee Botanic Garden until September 2011. Research and work within this project can be seen at www.byleaveswelive.wordpress.com.
