Description:

Val Mclean obtained her  first degree in the History of Fine Art and English Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow and completed her Foundation Course at Leith School of Art in 2006 before going on to study the BA in Intermedia Art at Edinburgh College of Art.  She is now working towards a practice led MPhil/Phd at Edinburgh College of Art. Val has worked at the school, and been on the school's Friends committee since 2008.  She has a studio in Leith with the Rhubaba artists collective, www.rhubaba.org, and exhibits regularly in contemporary art venues.
