Printmaking provides an ideal method of creating new and visually exciting images and offers the artist fresh and often unexpected creative outcomes.

Over the course of four Saturday afternoons, students will be introduced to a core printmaking technique, and each week look at new and creative ways in which the process can be explored. Each class will start with a practical demonstration and introduction to artists working with the relevant technique. Students will then explore the process for the rest of the session guided by the tutor.  This course is suitable for students who are totally new to printmaking and those with some experience who are considering applying to the year-long Printmaking Course.
