This intensive two-day workshop provides an exciting introduction to collagraph and carburundum printmaking processes. Both processes may be used individually or in tandem to create an extraordinary range of both intaglio and relief images.

Taking inspiration from the theme of ‘Landscape and Memory’, students can explore the properties of line, surface, layering, light, shade and colour inherent in these processes, as a means of exploring the theme and extending their visual language. The course is suitable for beginners wishing to explore printmaking for the first time and for more experienced printmakers wishing to extend their practice.
