This intensive printmaking Summer School is designed for individuals who wish to explore a range of printmaking techniques including; monotype, drypoint, collagraph carburundum and relief print methods, towards innovative possibilities and creative outcomes.

In addition, students will explore the ‘A la Poupée’ technique, transparent and opaque rollup techniques and multiple plate registration. Each process will be taught through practical workshops and technical demonstrations under the guidance of a professional tutor. The experience of these individual processes and in combination. Students are asked to bring reference materials such as sketchbooks, drawings or photographs which will act as a starting point for the development of the theme of ‘Ebb and Flow’. On completion of the course students will have developed a suite of prints completed to a professional standard.
