A workshop introducing young artists to printmaking.
An experimental day focusing on two techniques, monoprint and lino print. Working from a still life, we will spend the morning trying out monoprinting using different papers, surfaces and colours. Lino printing will be introduced in the afternoon, creating bold images by carving into the surface of the lino.
This inspiring workshop will give students the opportunity to get to grips with printmaking processes and equipment, develop their creative skills and learn how to incorporate printmaking into their future art work.
