Artist’s Statement

I was intrigued with the idea of how Earth may be once the human race becomes extinct, as a result of anthropogenic causes. This led me to explore abandoned man-made structures. Whilst exploring my eyes were caught by the bright contrasting Graffiti in these buildings. For this piece I wanted to portray a sense of utilisation, similar to how people have made use of the empty, forgotten walls of these places.

Biography

I love using vibrant colours and creating unusual combinations with them. I love creating all different kinds of art but I discovered that fashion was very interesting and that I wanted to pursue it into my future after studying on the Foundation course at Leith School of Art, although it has always been something that has intrigued me. I am moving on to study Fashion Design at Glasgow School of Art after summer.
