Jenny tutors jewellery making in the School’s evening courses, workshops and Summer School and has been teaching at the School and at Edinburgh College of Art since 2003.
Jenny studied on the BA (Hons) Jewellery & Silversmithing course at Edinburgh College of Art and after graduating in 2002 set up her studio at Coburg House Art Studios in Leith. Jenny’s work is inspired by nature, sculpture and architecture and is made predominantly from sterling silver and gold wire. Jenny describes her work as “elegant jewellery with a playful twist”.
Previously a council member for Visual Arts Scotland (VAS), Jenny continues to exhibit with the society as a professional member and received the VAS Award for Visual Arts in 2011. Jenny has been selected several times to exhibit in the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Fair in London and in 2015 exhibited in the Elements festival of the Incorporation of Goldsmiths and Lyon and Turnbull, Edinburgh.
