Leith School of Art offers a unique range of courses. With our excellent staff to student ratios and high quality teaching, the School is an exceptional place to learn whether you are an established artist or a complete beginner.
Our independent status allows us considerable freedom in how we deliver our teaching. The School seeks to create an intimate and supportive environment for studying art and design, and our small scale offers a unique opportunity to work closely with each individual to develop their artistic ability.
Leith School of Art has been successful in gaining Educational Oversight from Education Scotland. You can review the full report here.
We offer year-long courses in a variety of disciplines, a Foundation Course and Graduate Residencies.
We run a diverse range of day and evening courses to suit all abilities, as well as a selection of weekend workshops and a summer school programme. You can also purchase gift vouchers, which can be redeemed against a range of courses.
