Arts & Makers Market - Stallholders Wanted!

We are delighted to announce that applications for our 2025 Arts & Makers Market are now open!

As part of the Leith Creative Trail, we are looking forward to a busy weekend – a great opportunity for you to sell your work to an engaged audience and get to know local artists, makers and customers.
 

When: Saturday 6^th and Sunday 7^th December
Where: Leith School of Art’s Albion Road campus, 66 Albion Road (just off Easter Road)
How much: £55 per large table/day, £50/medium table/day, £45/day if providing own table

Set-up/take-down times: 9.30am – 5.30pm
Trading times: 10.30am – 4.30pm

All stall items must be handmade, handcrafted or independently designed by the applicant/small team. We are unable to accept applications from food or drink stalls.

With space for 20 stalls, you will have the option to apply for a shared or a full table, over one or both days. There is free parking on the streets around Albion Road (please check this website for further information: https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/parking-spaces/find-parking-bays  Each stallholder will have access to WiFi and will be required to sign our stallholder agreement. This will be sent out to you as part of your stall confirmation email.
 

Table & wall hanging space

Each stall space is roughly 2sqm and comes with a chair. We can offer a limited number of tables.

Large tables:  6ft x 2ft6 (183cmx76cm)
Medium tables: 4ft x 2ft6 (122cm x 76 cm)

These tables are used for teaching purposes and will need to be covered (tablecloth or similar provided by stallholders).

We have a limited amount of stalls with wall space – around half our stalls. There are also a limited number of stalls which have access to a power socket, also around half our stalls. There will be an option to note your preferences when applying.

We will ask for no more than 5 high resolution photographs of your products which will be used as part of the marketing for this event.

Where possible, we will endeavour to offer you your preferred date and stall type.

Closing date for applications: Monday 6^th October. We aim to respond to all applicants by Friday 24^th October.
Payment deadline to secure stall: Friday 7^th November.
