A two-day, intensive drawing workshop focusing on proportion, placing the figure in space and using geometry to develop the potential of your drawing.
The first day will be spent learning how to look, plot and map out the figure in space, with considerations to proportions, scale and relationships to the model’s space. The second day will be spent looking at how geometric structures can be layered on our drawings, giving us further means of representing the figure in space.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, but is also aimed at those who want to deepen and strengthen their observational drawing skills. We will work with a life model on both days, and students will leave with a series of drawings based on short and long poses.
