An ideal introduction to making rings out of silver, students will be guided through the process of designing and making a set of stacking rings.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of wire. Students will practice this technique, before moving on to complete their set of rings using sawing, filing, soldering and texturing methods. Different textures and finishes can be applied to allow each student to create a unique, individually designed set of rings. This ever-popular workshop is a great way for beginners to learn the basic techniques of jewellery-making.
