A workshop focussing on describing reflective surfaces using acrylic paint.
Students will work from a still life set-up of kitchen and everyday objects full of varying textures and reflective surfaces. The use of studio lights as well as natural light will create a dynamic, drama-filled subject to work from. We’ll take inspiration from Fairfield Porter and create atmospheric paintings using acrylic paint and supporting mediums, including matt medium and gloss medium.
