An ideal workshop for anyone wishing to learn the basics of painting with oils.
Tutor demonstrations will introduce the technical aspects of painting with oils. You will be guided through the practical process of using oil paint, from laying out a palette to applying paint and composing a painting.
Throughout the course, we will work from a still life set-up, focussing on colour mixing and mark making. Students on this course will gain confidence handling paint, while discovering the exciting relationships to be found between colours, tones and shades.
