By becoming a Patron you will join a group of people who love Leith School of Art, and who share our passion for helping students realise their creative potential. You will play a vital role in shaping the future success and growth of the School.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Patrons play a vital role in enabling the School to work towards our charitable aim of offering high quality art education to students despite financial or personal difficulties. The Patrons enable us to offer bursaries to students through Assisted Places, to launch the career of Graduate Residents, to support the artistic development of disadvantaged young people, to offer accessible art classes to our local community, to maintain our beautiful facilities, and to offer the supportive culture for which the School is known and loved.
Patrons are close to the heart of Leith School of Art, receiving news of School life and developments. During our popular Summer and Christmas shows, Patrons are offered a quieter time to appreciate the exhibition with the Principal and artists before the crowds arrive. We also host exclusive Patrons art and social events, giving a chance to get to know other Patrons and the School’s staff and Tutors.
You can support the School by becoming a Patron at a level and annual donation to suit you:
• Ochre, £100 and over (or £9/ month by Standing Order)
• Viridian, £250 and over (or £21/ month by Standing Order)
• Cerulean, £500 and over (or £42/ month by Standing Order)
• Alizarin, £1,000 and over (or £84/ month by Standing Order)
The levels of donation are confidential, and we only ever thank the Patrons publicly as a group, so your individual gift will remain private. Levels are raised annually in the autumn.
If you would like to find out more about the Patrons, please get in touch with Gwen Rowland, Fundraiser, for an informal chat on 0131 554 5761 or email: GWEN@LEITHSCHOOLOFART.CO.UK. Gwen will be delighted to hear from you!
