Our Year-long courses are carefully timetabled so that they can be taken in combination with each other. This encourages students to develop their art in related fields.
The combination of the three-day Painting course with the two-day Drawing course brings huge benefits in each discipline. Taking both the Contemporary Art Practice course and the Printmaking course is a great option for students who want to experience a wide range of media and processes. After a period of study, many students find the Critical & Professional Development course excellent preparation for their own professional practice.
Day & Evening Courses, Weekend Workshops and Summer Schools can all be used as a stepping stone towards some of the School’s Year-long courses. A combination of these courses can be extremely effective in building a strong portfolio of work.
You are encouraged to discuss the variety of study options with School staff before you make your application. Based on your needs, skills and ambitions we will advise what the best programme of study is for you.
